The sun isn't setting in Alaska which means that my drinking needs to begin sooner rather than later and what better way to experience Anchorage than by attending their local Farmer's Market (there's one where you live so peel yourself off the floor, wipe your drool and wander over)!
There's never been a better time to make summer cocktails with fresh produce locally grown! I'm all about drinking locally! So pick yourself up some peaches, Cointreau and prosecco and let the Saturday Libation's begin!
Ingredients you need
- 2 lbs. pureed Peaches
- 1 glug Cointreau
- many bottles Prosecco
How to make a Farmer's Market Bellini:
Skin, Slice, puree two pounds of peaches. I like White Peaches the best! Thin the peach puree by adding a glug of Cointreau. Chilled prosecco and glasses to assemble. Use 2/3 prosecco and 1/3 peach puree per glass. No ice needed!
My recommended glass: As many as possible!
